Island Watersports, Lanzarote offers all year round diving and welcomes divers from all over the world, from all diver training agencies, beginners to tec and all ages from 10 years up!
Divers have come from as far a field as New Zealand, Hong Kong and the good ole USA and closer to home including Belgium, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Latvia (the list goes on) and of course Germany, the UK and Ireland.
Dive agencies include NAUI, VDST, IANTD, PSAI, and of course SSI, BSAC, CFT, PADI and TDI/SDI; the more the merrier. The youngest divers have been 10 years and the oldest in their 80's; a sport for everyone, especially the whole family.

Scuba Diving In Lanzarote
Amazing, fantastic, awesome, spectacular, magical, OMG !!! There really is that much you can experience when diving Lanzarote. Island Watersports will take you to the best dive sites on the island, which includes some of the best known dive sites such as The Cathedral, The Blue Hole and the Harbour Wrecks along with lesser known dive sites such as Las Coloradas and let's not forget the unique underwater museum. Steeped in mystery, sub-tropical island culture and meaning, this dive boat excursion is a must for every diver. You can race with the children of Lanzarote, cross the Rubicon, meet the faceless selfies and even see your own reflection underwater. If you have a camera be sure to take a mirror selfie, to mimic the face selfies.
The marine life is varied and abundant inhabiting the reefs, wrecks, caverns and volcanic topography.
There really is something for everyone from beginners to tec.
Find yourself marveling over glowing cuttle fish in the shallows of the house reef or diving face to face with a curious giant Grouper or find yourself exhilarated when encircled by Jacks on the top of the reef.
Who knows what you'll experience!

We have a wide range of courses available including favourites such as Advanced Adventure Diver, Nitrox and Deep as well as Cavern and Solo Diver and a full range of TDI Technical courses from Intro to Tec through to Advanced Trimix Diver and CCR courses too.
For those of you eager to learn to dive the Open Water Course is designed just for you. Never tried scuba diving before and just want a try dive first to see how you get on then you'll be interested in a try dive or perhaps the Basic Diver Course.
Island Watersports has teamed up with BSAC Lanzarote and as a BSAC Overseas Training Centre it offers BSAC Training from Ocean Diver upwards, including the NEW BSAC Advanced Wreck Course. BSAC Lanzarote is also the only BSAC Technical Dive Centre in the Canaries and can offer OC and CCR BSAC training courses.
